Energy Healing

What is it?

Reiki healing is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and energy healing that works to harmonize the body's energy centers (chakras), assist in releasing stagnant energy, and restore vitality.

In my practice, I utilize Holy Fire® Reiki, a newer form of Reiki introduced by William Lee Rand. Holy Fire® energy is noticeably more refined and is said to come from a higher level of consciousness.

The Philosophy.

Our energy field is composed of the information that exists within and around us, which influences our body on a cellular level. When we have not processed our emotions and experiences, the energy that they hold can become stored in the body causing stagnation in our life force energy (Qi). Without integration and release, the residual energy from these emotions and experiences can hinder our growth and experience of life, while also evolving into stress, nervous system dysregulation, and illness.

During your session, we begin with a gentle conversation to explore your health history, current intentions, and any patterns or concerns that have been present for you lately. From there, we’ll intentionally slow things down—dropping into a brief somatic practice as you settle into a comfortable position.

Once your system begins to soften, the session flows into meditation, breathwork, Reiki, intuitive energy techniques, therapeutic sound, and tuning forks. These modalities work together to help unwind stress and stored tension, guide you into a deeply relaxed state, and support you in reconnecting with your truth.

My goal is to hold a safe and warm space for you to unwind, release what your body needs to, and connect deeply to your soul. I hope that you leave feeling empowered and more regulated, with free flowing Qi.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What will I feel/experience?
Most people drop into a deeply relaxed, restorative state and notice shifts in their energy — tingling, waves of sensation, or a light, floating feeling. It’s also common to see colors or imagery, and to feel warmth or coolness move through different parts of your body.
What do I have to do during a session?
We’ll start with a short breathwork and meditation practice to help you settle into a relaxed state. There’s nothing you need to think about or prepare during session— just arrive as you are.
How many Reiki sessions are needed for the best results?
I recommend having Reiki once a month for general maintenance of energy flow. More frequent sessions are helpful if there is a specific or urgent challenge that you are working through.
What should I do after my session?
Drink lots of water, rest, and eat nourishing food. Any type of grounding self-care would feel supportive as well (i.e. self-massage, going for a walk, gentle breath work)
